A Brief History of Whetstone Animal Hospital
In 1992, Dr. Jeff Holter and his wife Carol remodeled an empty storefront in Bucyrus and, in May of that year, opened the Whetstone Animal Hospital , a modern, 2000 square foot veterinary facility. Dr. Holter had previously been in mixed animal practice in Angola, IN and Shelby OH. From the time of its inception the practice has been limited to small (pet) animals.
In 2018 the Holters sold Whetstone Animal Hospital to Dr. Todd Price. Dr. Price currently also owns Lincoln Way Animal Hospital in Upper Sandusky and North Central Veterinary Services in Sycamore.
